KATHRYN PIOTROWSKI
Kathryn now devotes her time, fully, to documenting severe weather along side her husband, of 16 years. “Actually I have found my niche in life…I absolutely LOVE shooting the extremes of mother nature and editing the footage." That "niche" includes some of the most historic weather events in recent history, Hurricane Katrina, The Joplin Tornado, Hurricane Sandy and the Oklahoma City 1999 EF-5 to name a few. Her photos grace the pages of books ranging from collegiate level Atmospheric Science by Wallace and Hobbs to Elementary level weather books, The Weather Guide Calendar and various advertising venues.
Kathryn's talents in the arts have produced some jaw dropping results in Photography, digital artwork, video editing and web design. She produced the Journey Through Tornado Alley Series of DVDs. The remainder of her creativity spills over into designing many "beautiful things" such as holiday wreathing to elegant & whimsical Christmas trees through the guise of Silver Antler Design. |
